Fujifilm XT2 in Lake Tekapo, South Island, New Zealand

Hey guys back at it again with another slew of photos! This time it’s in the arguably most instagrammable place here in New Zealand, LAKE TEKAPO, Let’s get started!

The Drive

We started our drive in little quaint town, Fairlie. It was about a 30 minute drive to get to the lake, the ride leading up to it was beautiful!

I had to pull over to capture this!

Lake Tekapo

Once we arrived, we were rewarded with some picturesque scenery and I was lost for words!

Mountains and lupines…

Postcard worthy!

Catching the sunset…

Golden hour…

Follow the red dress…

Nightfall

The Mackenzie region in New Zealand is apart of the dark sky reserve which means we were able to see the brightest stars in this area. We wanted to shoot the milky way but sadly, this night was too bright because of the full moon. But here is an image of the Church of the Good Shepard!

Be prepared to share this space with a bunch of Chinese tourists late at night. You are not alone!

Conclusion

Okay guys that’s it for Lake Tekapo I hope you guys enjoy the photos! Like i said before New Zealand is a country you must see once in your life time! See you next time!

All the photos were shot on the Fujifilm X-T2 with the Fujinon XF 16-55mm F2.8 lens and was later post processed in Adobe Lightroom
